College admissions season is in full swing! High school students across the United States are in the most challenging phase of the college admissions process: standardized testing. The SAT® and ACT® are two of the most widely recognized exams for college admissions.

Why are the stakes even higher this year? In the past few weeks, more and more colleges and universities have quietly reversed test-optional policies adopted at the height of the pandemic and reinstated standardized test scores as a requirement for admission. In addition, this is the first year students will take the new Digital SAT instead of the paper and pencil version.

2024 DIGITAL SAT Dates

Students will take the Digital SAT in school from March 4 - April 26, 2024 and October 1 - October 31, 2024 . No registration is required to take the SAT at school. Check with your school to confirm the actual date. Students can also register to take the SAT at authorized testing centers on the weekend.
